Oslo Burlesque Festival - one dream come true

When I started doing burlesque I wouldn't in my wildest dreams think I would perform internationally one day. But in a way I'm quite ambitious and quite soon I realized I need to see how far my wings could take me. Since that moment I've been sending applications to all different productions and festivals just to receive rejection letters. But did that stop me trying? Absolutely not!

Then, one day I received email from Oslo telling me that I got selected. I went nuts and had to check that email for several times just to make sure I understood it right. One happy day to remember!

Festival took place last weekend on 21st and 22nd of October, I was performing on Friday and got to share stage with punch of amazing artists from all over the world. Production team had done absolutely superb job and we were extremely well kept. Evening was full of acceptance, support, love and caring, and audience then - absolutely loudest cheerers ever heard! If you ever think applying to any international festival make sure Oslo is one of them. You will be loved!

The whole trip was lovely, I managed to explore the city and even chitchat with others even though I'm not much of a converse in a group of people. I participated in two workshops by Tempest Rose and Jeez Loueez and got valuable tools for future.

I'm so happy I had this opportunity and can't thank enough Oslo Burlesque Festival for having me.

And guess what, I'm planning already next international applications. 'Cause why not?
