Burlesque Contests - yes or no?

There are many opinions about contests in a world of burlesque, and I've been giving a lot of thoughts to that as well. How one can judge art which is so personal and is presented in so various ways? What are the criteria?
Sure, there are certain techniques and movements that can be appraised, as well as charisma and stage presentation, and of course, ways of tease. So I guess judgment has to base on overall presentation.
As curious as I am, I applied for online burlesque contest by Behind Burlesque and got selected. I'm presenting my 'Swansong' on show #4 starting at 8 pm on October 28th to November 6th at 11 pm. Viewers can vote too, but final decision of winner is made by judges.
The way I do burlesque is not a mainstream, if there is a such thing as. I purposely aim in a more artistic direction and I'm curious to see how judges see my art. I don't think I will get any feed back and I won't cry if I don't win. This is one new experience on my burlesque path and I'm excited to see where it takes me, if anywhere.
